Residents of our dementia care unit now recognize their doors. They are able to find their room without bothering other residents: this certainly provides a greater sense of safety. The True Doors also allow for each person to share stories from the past: to every door, there is a story! The True Doors make a big difference in the residents' wellbeing and the working environment is also more positive.
