Eugeria is on a mission to empower caregivers and healthcare professionals to provide quality person-centered care.
Our Story
Eugeria was founded by two friends: Valerie, an experienced business leader, and Quoc, a practicing Geriatric doctor and researcher who studied at the University of Montreal and holds both a Masters's in Public Health from Harvard University and a Ph.D. from McGill University.
Valerie’s grandparents and a large proportion of Quoc’s patients are living with dementia. They both struggled to find products specifically designed for people with dementia.
They decided to make a positive social impact in a market that is often overlooked and stigmatized. In 2018, they launched Eugeria with the goal of leveraging innovative technology to support the autonomy and well-being of older adults and people living with dementia.
Now, Valerie and Quoc lead a team of 20+ people who share their vision to improve the quality of people living with dementia. Five years into their journey with Eugeria, they are thrilled about the impact their team has on the lives of thousands of people living with dementia!
The thought behind our name
In Greek, Eugeria means "aging well," and that is Eugeria’s goal (or our goal), to help people age well! Living with dementia and related diseases can be a complex journey, presenting numerous challenges. Our mission is to facilitate the process of providing quality care for individuals living with dementia, whether they reside at home or in a care community.

A Science-Based Approach
Our team works with healthcare professionals and family caregivers to understand the needs of older adults and people living with dementia. For each need identified, we search for innovative products that combine science, technology, and everyday usefulness while preserving dignity.
Our products are tested by our multidisciplinary team, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to fully understand how they work, but especially to ensure their positive impact. Only the most promising innovations are made available on our e-commerce platform.
