This ¾ length bathing attire crafted from nylon jersey-lined neoprene, is designed to offer a soft and comfortable showering experience.

The Shower Garment features large arm and neck openings and strategically placed high-quality 2-way zippers, enabling caregivers to bathe the wearer efficiently while maintaining their warmth. It is proudly made in the USA, ensuring superior quality and durability.


Please note that these are not pant sizes but actual waist measurements. We recommend using a tape measure to measure your waist dimensions accurately. This garment sizing is unisex and designed to be loose to allow room for the bathing process.

How to put on the Blue HUG

While still clothed, place the Blue Hug over your loved one’s shoulders like a cape, with their arms alongside the body (not through the armholes). Zip the garment from the neck down to the chest and then remove the shirt. Once the shirt is removed, guide your loved one’s arms through the armholes to fully wear the Blue Hug. Continue zipping downward, and remove the bottoms.

Getting in the Shower

Help your loved one into the shower, adjust the water temperature to its preference, and soak the garment from the outside to keep the bather warm.

Starting the Cleaning Process

Unzip a side zipper to wet your loved one’s skin with the shower head, then turn off the water and wash them.

Rinsing and Drying your Loved One

Turn the water back on and rinse off the soap from inside the garment using the side zipper. To dry, unzip the front zipper halfway, place a towel on your loved one’s lap, then unzip fully and cover their chest with another towel. Remove the garment while they are seated and let the Blue Hug drape over the shower chair while drying them. Finish drying your loved one and assist with dressing.

Final Steps

Rinse off the Blue Hug, and hang it to air dry.

Wash the Blue Hug in the washing machine every other week. Hang to air dry.
