Product Details

The VTech SN5127 is an amplified cordless phone designed for seniors living with hearing loss, vision impairment, or cognitive difficulties. The ringer reaches up to 90 dB, and a flashing visual indicator activates for incoming calls, making it easier to notice and answer the phone.

Four photo-activated auto-dial buttons allow users to call family and friends by pressing a familiar face — no need to remember or dial a number. Large keys, a large-print display, and AudioAssist up to 50 dB make the phone accessible for a wide range of users. An answering machine with 22 minutes of recording time and call-blocking for unwanted numbers is also included.

  • The VTech SN5127 is suitable for seniors living with hearing loss who need an amplified ringer and louder call volume to use the phone comfortably.
  • The VTech SN5127 is suitable for people living with memory loss or cognitive impairment who benefit from photo-activated speed dial to reach family and friends without dialing.
  • The VTech SN5127 is suitable for seniors with vision impairment who need large keys and a large-print display for easier phone use.

Staying connected to family and friends is one of the most important factors in well-being for older adults, but standard phones increasingly assume a level of dexterity, hearing, and memory that many seniors no longer have. Small buttons, quiet ringers, and number-based dialing create barriers that gradually make the phone feel unusable.

The VTech SN5127 addresses those barriers directly and practically. The photo keypad removes the memory requirement for dialing entirely — the user simply presses a face. The 90 dB ringer and visual flash make incoming calls noticeable even for those with significant hearing loss. And because all features can be pre-programmed by a caregiver, the person receiving the phone never has to navigate a setup menu. It arrives ready to use, which matters enormously when the goal is independent, confident phone use.
