Great. After about 40 seconds of the smoke detector ringing (not 30 seconds), the oven shuts down completely. You have to turn the circuit breaker on/off to reactivate the oven. If the oven is switched off when the smoke detector rings, the oven will not be affected.

Excellent product that can save the life of an elderly person

Easy to install and synchronizes quickly with the smoke detector. However, you have to make sure that you have the necessary space behind the stove because the unit is quite large. The unit I received seemed to be already synchronized because the indicator light was green. I had to reset it to be able to synchronize with the fire alarm. Be sure to test it once it is installed. Note that the smart plug automatically cuts the power only if a cooking element is on, which is a positive point.
