Product Details

The TabTime Timer is a compact medication reminder that sounds up to 8 programmable alarms per day, helping older adults and persons living with dementia stay on schedule with their medication. Each alarm triggers a 1-minute audio buzzer and a flashing red LED light, and is canceled when the user presses any button. The device is operated with just 3 large buttons, making it straightforward to set up and use. Small enough to fit in a pocket or purse, it also comes with three attachments so it can be stood on a table, stuck to a surface, or hung nearby. A countdown timer adds extra versatility for timed-interval doses. Once set, alarm times repeat daily and are retained even after a battery change. Powered by 1 AAA battery (included).

  • The TabTime Timer Medication Reminder is suitable for persons living with dementia who need regular audible and visual prompts to take medication throughout the day.
  • The TabTime Timer Medication Reminder is suitable for persons living with Parkinson's who require multiple precisely timed doses each day.
  • The TabTime Timer Medication Reminder is suitable for caregivers who already use a pill organizer or dispenser but need a separate alarm device to support medication adherence.

Missing a medication dose, or taking one at the wrong time, is a common concern for caregivers. For persons living with dementia or Parkinson's, timing can be especially critical because certain medications need to be taken at precise intervals throughout the day. A pill organizer sorts the pills, but it does not remind anyone to actually take them.

We chose the TabTime Timer because it does one thing well: it reminds the person to take their medication at the right time. With 8 independently programmable alarms, it covers even complex multi-dose schedules. The alarms combine a loud buzzer with a flashing red LED, so both hearing and visual cues are covered. The 3-button interface keeps setup simple, and the "set it and forget it" design means alarm times are remembered every day without reprogramming. Its small size and three mounting options (stand, adhesive, hook) make it easy to place wherever it will be most noticed. It pairs well with any pill organizer or automatic dispenser already in use.
