To activate the bird, just press its tail once and you will hear it chirp. If you pet the bird, you will hear it coo. (Note that you won't hear it chirping if it's in performance mode or hooked on its magnet). The bird will also be able to talk back to you when you talk.

Can the volume of the Walker Squawker be adjusted?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to increase or decrease the volume of the bird.

Can the Walker Squawker detect movement?

Yes, the bird detects movement. When installed on a walker, the bird will sing the ‘Forget me not’ song if it detects that the walking motion has stopped. After a few minutes of inactivity, the bird goes into sleep mode. Squeeze its tail to reactivate it.
