Eugeria Acquires Eldergrow, Bringing a Beloved Therapeutic Gardening Program Back to Senior Living Communities

Eugeria, a Canadian leader in dementia care innovation, proudly announces the acquisition of Eldergrow, a U.S.-based company known and loved for bringing the joy and therapeutic power of gardening into senior living communities.

The announcement comes on Earth Day, which also marks Eldergrow’s 10th anniversary—a fitting milestone for a program rooted in the healing connection between people and plants.

With this acquisition, Eugeria deepens its commitment to delivering high-impact, evidence-based tools for dementia care. The relaunch of Eldergrow under Eugeria’s leadership expands access to nature-based therapeutic programming through a flexible offering that fits the diverse needs of today’s care communities.

Eldergrow has long been cherished by care professionals for its ability to spark joy, purpose, and connection,” said Valérie Larochelle, CEO of Eugeria. “Bringing it into the Eugeria family allows us to honor that legacy while expanding access to an approach that perfectly aligns with our mission: improving quality of life through innovation and empathy.

A Nature-Based Solution for Dementia Care

Now offered through Eugeria, the Eldergrow product line includes three unique offerings:

  • Indoor Compact Garden – A table-top garden ideal for smaller spaces or more intimate programs. Includes one year of supplies and Nature Connect access.

  • Nature Connect Subscription – A fully digital version of the Eldergrow curriculum, offering daily nature-based activities designed to be garden-agnostic and adaptive to all cognitive, motor abilities and memory care neighborhoods.

Meeting the Moment for Senior Living Communities

Eldergrow responds to an industry-wide demand for engaging, non-pharmacological approaches that are proven to benefit resident well-being. Its research-backed approach supports motor skills, mood, sleep, socialization, and above all, a sense of belonging. Whether used as a moment of redirection or a centerpiece for group connection, Eldergrow helps residents feel engaged, grounded, and valued.

“Eldergrow has always been about growing seeds of joy, purpose, and connection. I’m so grateful to see it bloom in new ways with Eugeria.” said Orla Concannon, founder of Eldergrow. “Together, we’ll continue to cultivate meaningful opportunities for the older adults and caregivers who inspire us every day.”
